In 2003, <br />an addition was constructed to increase the square footage of the existing commercial building <br />and interior improvements were also conducted in order to facilitate the operation of a new Target <br />retail store. Throughout the years, the site has continued to be improved with roof -mounted solar <br />equipment, signage upgrades, multiple tenant improvements, and two exterior fagade remodels. <br />On November 28, 2005, the Planning Commission approved Resolution No. 2005-18 allowing the <br />sale of beer and wine for off -premises consumption. On September 25, 2023, the applicant <br />submitted the subject application to the Planning Division to modify the existing CUP to allow the <br />sale of distilled spirts for off -premises consumption in order to provide an additional service to its <br />customers and become a one -stop department store. <br />
