This notice is being sent to those who live or own property within 1000 feet of the project site or who have expressed an interest in the proposed action. We encourage you to contact us prior to the Public Hearing if you have any questions. Planning Commission Action: The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive public testimony, and will take action on the item described below. Decision on this matter will be final unless appealed pursuant to Article V of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code within 10 calendar days of the decision by any interested party or group. Project Location: 1303 North Bristol Street for the property located within the Bristol Street Corridor Specific Plan (SP1) zoning district. Project Applicant: Jay Higgins, with Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers (Applicant) on behalf of Charles Manh (Property Owner) Proposed Protect: Applicant requests approval of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 2024-06 and Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 2024-07 to allow for the construction of a new eating establishment (Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers) with drive -through window services and after-hours operation (between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.). The subject site is comprised of two parcels, Assessor's Parcel No. (APN) 405-272-21 and 405-272-24, which will be merged as part of a ministerial review process. Environmental Impact: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the project is exempt from additional review pursuant to Section 15303 (Class 3 — New Construction) of the CEQA guidelines. Environmental Review No. 2023-72 will be filed for this project. Meeting Details: This matter will be heard on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701.
