P~ESOLUTION NO. 61-~0 APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA COVERING PORTIONS OF <br />THE NEWPORT FREEWAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, construction is about to commence on State Route 43, <br />to be known as the Newport Freeway, for the section running Southerly <br />from Chapman Avenue in the City of Orange, and Santa Ana has annexed <br />territory between McFadden and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe <br />Railroad right of way through which said Freeway passes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Orange entered into a Freeway Agreement, <br />dated September 2, 1958, providing for said construction, and it is <br />necessary now to supplement said Agreement for the portions within <br />Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby approves the Freeway Agreement submitted <br />by the State of California, nominated "VII - Ora-43?SA between Santa <br />Ana CL at Delhi Road and Tustin CL at McFadden Street", and the ~4ayor <br />and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute the same <br />for and on behalf of the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />at its regular meeting held on the <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />20th day of February , 1961. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
