(9) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />11.EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />The Contractor shall provide the City with names and telephone numbers of at least two <br />qualified persons who can be called by City representatives when emergency <br />maintenance conditions occur during hours when the Contractor's normal work force is <br />not present in the City of Santa Ana. These Contractor representatives shall respond to <br />said emergency within twenty four (24) hours from receiving notification. <br />12.UNDERGROUND EXCAVATIONS <br />Contractor shall be responsible for locating all underground utility lines to insure the <br />safety of his/her work crew and to protect, in place, existing utility equipment before <br />commencing any excavation. Contractor shall contact the City of Santa Ana and <br />Underground Service Alert (811) 48 hours before commencing any excavation, to locate <br />underground service lines. <br />13. AS NEEDED LANDSCAPE PLANNING AND BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS <br />The contractor shall provide estimates, at the City's request for as -needed landscape <br />planning and/or beautification requests. Work under this category shall be based upon a <br />time and material basis using the company hourly rates. Requests for service shall be <br />responded to within 24 hours. No work shall begin unless authorized by the City. <br />
