RESOLUTION NO. 61-56 OVERRULING THE ZONING ADMINIS- <br />TRATOR AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING <br />VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1449 FILED BY W. C. COLEMAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator, <br /> <br />notice, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Variance Application by the Zoning Administrator; <br /> <br /> after public hearing on <br />denied Variance Application No. 1449 filed by W. C. Coleman; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission affirmed the denial of said <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 13 was duly filed by the <br />applicant requesting a hearing on said Variance Application No. 1449 <br />before the City Council; and <br /> <br />Z <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice, <br />has decided that the Zoning Administrator and the Planning Commission <br />should be overruled and that said Variance should be granted upon <br />certain conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />grants said Variance on Application No. 1449 to permit the property <br />located at 501 South Cypress Street in the City of Santa Ana, lying <br />in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Lot 1 and the Northerly 2 feet of Lot 3 in Block 2 of <br /> Rouse and Lewis subdivision of Lyons addition to Santa <br /> Aha as shown on a map recorded in Book 17, Page 47, <br /> records of Los Angeles County <br /> <br />in an R-2 District to be used for the construction of a six-unit <br />apartment house. Said Variance is granted subject to conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the required number of off-street parking <br /> spaces be provided. <br /> <br /> 2. That the owner improve the alley to the rear of the <br /> property involved in this Variance in accordance with <br /> the City of Santa Ana standards. <br /> <br /> 3. That the owner construct a standard alley approach. <br /> <br /> 4. That the owner close the existing unused drive approach <br /> on Myrtle Street. <br /> <br /> 5. That the development be according to the submitted plot <br /> plan. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
