RESOLUTION NO. 61-63 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECI- FIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 4, 1961 WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the City of Santa Aha on April 4, 1961; and WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing if the County Clerk of the County of Orange will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City and territory outside of said City but in the Santa Ana School District on envel- opes furnished by the City; and WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the City of Santa Ana. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the County Clerk to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held on April 4, 1961, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City, and territory outside of said City but in the Santa Aha School District, on envelopes furnished by the City. SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to the City of a properly approved bill. -1-
