RESOLUTION NO. 61-63 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE BOARD OF <br />SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO PERMIT <br />THE COUNTY CLERK OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECI- <br />FIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, RELATING <br />TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 4, 1961 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the <br />City of Santa Aha on April 4, 1961; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in <br />relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and <br />polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it <br />will facilitate such mailing if the County Clerk of the County of <br />Orange will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the names <br />and addresses of the registered voters of said City and territory <br />outside of said City but in the Santa Ana School District on envel- <br />opes furnished by the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service <br />shall be paid by the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 <br />of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council <br />hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit <br />the County Clerk to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in <br />conducting said election to be held on April 4, 1961, the imprinting <br />of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City, and <br />territory outside of said City but in the Santa Aha School District, <br />on envelopes furnished by the City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for <br />services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation <br />to the City of a properly approved bill. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
