The new
facility is designed to accommodate the relocation of both the Public Works
(PWA) and Planning & Building (PDA) Agencies back into the City Hall Civic
Center Complex. The project design will enable these two agencies, together
with the Business License and Municipal Utility Services, to streamline
their customer service operations by creating a "One- Stop- Shop" where
outside customer transactions will be conducted at one counter location. The
expansion will significantly improve the ability of the public to access the
so ---vices provided by these agencies, while enhancing the efficiency of the
city operations through the reuniting of the core administrative and
departmental functions at City Hall.
0 17
