RF~OLUTION NO. 61-70 ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF DELHI ROAD OUTSIDE THE NEW ALIGNMENT, NOW WARNER AVENUE WHEP~EAS, it was necessary to realign Delhi Road, the name of which has now been changed to and is hereinafter referred to as Warner Avenue, and it was considered desirable to vacate that part of the old right of way outside of the new alignment as recommended by the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commission; and WHYS, public hearing was duly held on said question on notice contained in Resolution Number 61-45, declaring intention to vacate, and on posted notices, on ~4arch 20, 1981, and after hearing, the Council decided that said vacation should be effected. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~ESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby finds that the portion of Warner Avenue lying outside of the new street alignment and herein described is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: ~at the City Council hereby makes its order vacating and abandoning for street purposes that portion of Warner Avenue, formerly known as Delhi Road, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Ail that portion of Delhi Road lying Southerly of the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Raitt Street with the center line of Delhi Road as shown on a map of Tract No. 3679, recorded in Book 132, Pages 4, 5 and 6, Miscellaneous 5~ps, records of Orange county, California; thence ~. $7~ 44' 45" E. along said center line of Delhi Road 749.31 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, con- radial cave Northerly and having a radius of 1000 feet,2~ 15" to said point bears S. 2v 15' 15" E.; thence S. 15' E. along said radial 59.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concentric with above mentioned curve and having a radius of 1059 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 27~ 27' 16~', an arc distance of 507.44 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave Southerly and having a radius of 933.31 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 29° 32' 31", an arc distance of 481.22 feet to a tangent line, said tangent line being a line that is parallel with and 60.00 feet Southerly of the South line of Tract No. 2207, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 62, Pages 23 and 24, Miscellaneous t~ps, -1-
