Preparation of strategies and action steps to address and eliminate identified impediments <br />to fair housing choice both for individual jurisdictions and on a regional level. <br />2. Prepare a Joint Equity Plan following robust community engagement that contains an <br />analysis Offair housing issues confronting the region andPublic Housing Authorities <br />(PHAs), goals, and strategies to remedy those Issues in concrete ways, and a <br />description Oycommunity engagement. <br />i The Equity Plan iothe fair housing plan that will be prepared tncommit cities and <br />PM/\ubugoals that advance equity inhousing, community development programs, <br />and residents' access to well-resourced areas, opportunity, and community assets. <br />ii. The Equity Plan should be developed with the input of the and consist <br />of an analysis of fair housing data and issues, a prioritization of the issues that <br />would be addressed, and the establishment of and commitment to undertake fair <br />housing goals. Those goals would then be incorporated into subsequent planning <br />documents, such aothe Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and PHA Plan. <br />iii.
