RESOLUTION NO. 61-83 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, OPPOSING ADOPTION OF ASSF24BLY BILL 625 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />that Assembly Bill $25 should not be adopted, should be held in <br />Committee, and if ever brought to a vote on the floor of the <br />Assembly, should be there defeated. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That public agencies have not so <br />conducted themselves as to need any regulation by the State in so <br />amending Labor Code Section 1171; that this Council does not believe <br />that any abuse needing such correction exists in our State; that this <br />Council certainly knows of none, and that this Assembly Bill 625 is <br />opposed as a further attempt to unnecessarily regulate governmental <br />agencies in a manner that cannot be excused as necessary and would <br />be an interference with existing conditions that are entirely proper <br />and not in need of regulation. <br /> <br />Aha at <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />its regular meeting held on the 20th day of March, 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />dL~kK OF -T~{E coUNcIL <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 20th day of ~rch, 1961, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Royal E.
