<br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and
<br />carried, Trustee Dahl was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem in

<br />adjourned its meeting to the Mayor's Office
<br />on motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by
<br />Hunter and carried. ~

<br /> on public liability and property damage
<br />insurance for the City and stated that a proposal had been received
<br />from Smith Brothers Insurance, issued by Fireman's Fund Indemnity
<br />
<br />Company, for a premium, of $25,806.73 per year, subject to final audit
<br />
<br />of automotive equipment and including an "excess" policy which will
<br />be secured from Lloyds of London covering bodily injury at the BoWl
<br />only above $300,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Also that a proposal had
<br />
<br />been received from E.D. Holmes, Jr., issued by the Pacific Indemnity
<br />
<br />Company, for a premium of $32,602.18. On recommendation of the
<br />
<br />Administrator and on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hunter
<br />
<br />carried, the proposal of Smith Brothers Insurance Company was accepted

<br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by McBride and carried, Map
<br />Tract No. 1625 and bond submitted by Cecil C. DeVote crux, in the sum
<br />of $34,000.00 were approved and officials authorized to sign Map
<br />covering dedication of Edlnger, Shelton, Stanford, Pomona, Berkeley
<br />
<br />Occidental and Baker Streets.

<br />Communication was read from H.M.Neighbour, Water Superintendent,
<br />advising that the number of active water meters as of November 30,
<br />1952, was 15,434 .and that the balance due Santa Aha Commercial
<br />Company for the month of November, 1952, is $13,018.90. On motion
<br />
<br />of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the communication
<br />

<br />was received and filed.

<br />Communications were read from Secretary of State and from the Depart-
<br />ment of Public Works reference special census taken as of October 23,
<br />1952, and based on the new population, the estimated gas tax revenue
<br />for the 1953 fiscal year amounts to $156,830.00. On motion of
<br />Trustee H,Auter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the communications
<br />
<br />were received and filed.
