EJC:ar <br />8/28/79 <br />AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING REPLACEMENT <br />AND REHABILITATION OF <br />RESIDENCE IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br />day of , 19_, by and between the City of Santa <br />Ana, a municipal corporation of the State of Cali€ornia <br />("CITY"), and Mead Housing Assistance Foundation, Incor- <br />porated ("MEAD"J, a nonprofit California corporation, <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />Recitals: <br />A. CITY, as part of its community development <br />program, desires to upgrade the housing stock in the City of <br />Santa Ana. <br />B. In furtherance of said goal, CITY desires to <br />have a substandard residence within the City of Santa Ana <br />demolished and a dwelling moved onto said real property and <br />rehabilitated by MEAD. <br />C. MEAD has the experience, resources and finan- <br />cial ability necessary to perform the work required to in <br />full and complete satisfaction of CITY. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the respective and <br />mutual covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all the terms and conditions hereof, <br />the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1. MEAD agrees to move the dwelling located at <br />1409 Martha Lane, Santa Ana, California, hereinafter re- <br />ferred to as "said dwelling", to 1312 No. Lincoln, Santa <br />Ana, California, hereinafter referred to as "said_ real <br />property" in accordance with the terms and conditions of <br />this agreement and that certain agreement between CITY and <br />Silvino Guzman, Josefina Guzman, and Efrain Guzman, a copy <br />of which is set out in "Exhibit A," attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein.
