RESOLUTION NO. 61-94 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA A~D DETERMINING A~) DECLARING THAT WEEDS <br />WHICH WHEN ~ATURE BEAR WINGY OR DOWNY SEEDS WHICH <br />WILL ATTAIN SUCH A LARGE GROWTH AS TO BECOME A <br />FIRE NE~NACE WHEN DRY, OR WHICH ARE NOXIOUS OR <br />DANGEROUS, ARE GROWING UPON CERTAIN STREETS~ <br />SIDEWALKS, Ak~ PRIVATE PROPERTY IN SAID CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, AND ARE A PUBLIC NUISANCEs DIRECTING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO POST NOTICES TO <br />DESTROY SAID WEEDS AS REQUIRED BY LAWS FIXING <br />THR TINE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS AND PROTESTS, AND <br />DIRECTING THE ABATFJ~ENT THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />CHAPTER 13, PART 2, DIVISION 3, TITLE 4 OF THE <br />GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWSs <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 13, Part 2, Division 3, Title 4 <br />of the Government code of the State of California, the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha hereby determines and declares that weeds <br />which when mature bear wingy or downy seeds, which will attain such <br />a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry or which are <br />otherwise noxious or dangerous, are growing upon certain streets, <br />sidewalks and private property in said City, and are hereby declared <br />to be a public nuisance, and that the names of such streets as they <br />are commonly known are hereinafter set forth and the property front- <br />ing upon such streets or sidewalks, or in front of which such nuisance <br />exists are hereinafter particularly described by lot and block numbers <br />according to the official assessment map; <br /> <br /> <br />
