299 Council Chamber Santa Aha City Hall December 15, 1952. 7:30 City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Present: T~ustees William Jerome, J.L.MoBride, Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. Absent: T~ustees None Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of December I and December 8, 1952, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried. In Re Bids Cast Iron Water Pipe On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, the Clerk was authorized to open bids for the furnishing of 10,O00 feet of 6 inch Cast Iron Water Pipe, to be Class 150 Bell and Spigot, cement lined, manufactured in accordance with Federal Specifications WW-P- 421, Type I or Type II, as follows: Bid of United 8tares Pipe and Foundry Company: Bond in the amount of $2000.00 accompanied bid. Approx. lO,O00 lineal feet of 6" Class 150, Centrif- ugally cast, Bell and Spigot, cast iron pipe, 18-foot lengths, made to conform with Federal Specifications WW-~-421, Type I, seal coated cement mortar lined inside of 1/16" minimum thickness, tar coated outside: (a) F.O.B. cars Santa Fe Railroad Siding, Santa Aha, California ...... O $ 1.~4/ft. (b) F.O.B. t~ucks Santa Aha, Cali~ornia O5 1.462/ft. Terms: Net cash 30 days. Delivery: Within sixty to ninety days after receipt of order. The prices set forth are "fi~m" and are quoted exclusive of any and all State and local taxes. Said prices a~e quoted on the basis of direct foundry shipment from Decotc, California (a) Rail freight, 60,000 pounds minimum carload lots; (b) T~uck freight, 40,000 pounds minimum t~uckload lots. The prices shown above are also offered for delivery f.o.b, cars or f.o.b, trucks foundry, Decoto, California, with full freight allowed to Santa Ana.
