m <br />Statement of Qualifications <br />OMB Electrical Engineers, Inc. is a full service electrical engineering firm dedicated to <br />providing professional services since 1987 in the areas of planning, engineering and <br />design, construction administration, and inspection services. Our staff of 34 gives us <br />excellent capability and versatility in meeting demanding design and construction <br />schedules. <br />Our designs are completely coordinated with the Architect, Mechanical Engineer and <br />other specialty consultants. We work closely with the design team to evaluate building <br />designs to ensure cost effective and energy efficient systems are utilized. Our facilities <br />design incorporates features promoting energy -efficient use of processes and materials, <br />including lighting technologies such as the prescription of energy -efficient lamps and <br />ballasts, and the application of automated lighting controls in public facilities and <br />institutions, including outdoor recreation areas. <br />Projects have included fast -track design and construction projects, which have resulted in <br />successful performance of the more -intensive program review, site- <br />evaluation/investigation, interdisciplinary coordination, cost control, utilities <br />improvements, and site adaptation efforts appropriate for working with school districts <br />and other educational facilities. <br />OMB Electrical Engineers has extensive experience in the preparation of final drawings, <br />specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, design analyses, and design reports <br />for numerous public agency -developed and managed facilities. Performance of these <br />services have also included close coordination with state agencies such as the Division of <br />the State Architect (and California Fire Marshal), as well as, implementation of proven <br />in-house design quality assurance procedures. <br />
