<br />Group Delta Consultants (GDC), Inc., is a minority -owned consulting engineering firm
<br />founded in 1986. GDC now has three offices in Southern California including Torrance,
<br />San Diego, Aliso Viejo. The firm has approximately 40 professionals consisting of civil
<br />and geotechnicai engineers, geologists, laboratory and field technicians, deputy
<br />inspectors, drafting/CAD, drilling and support personnel specialized in their respective
<br />fields. GDC offers a broad range of services to serve the needs of its clients. Our
<br />capabilities and services include geotechnical feasibility study, geotechnical field
<br />investigation, in -situ testing, foundation design, construction monitoring and materials
<br />testing, ground improvement and design, slope stability investigation and analyses,
<br />preparation of plans and specifications, environmental site assessments, instrumentation,
<br />seismic studies and earthquake engineering.
<br />During the past 15 years, we have established a record of completing projects on
<br />schedule and within budget for major clients in the public and private sectors. Our
<br />laboratory facility is licensed as an approved testing facility by both the City of Los
<br />Angeles and Caltrans. In addition, we have licensed and experienced deputy inspectors
<br />and technicians specialized in their respective fields including concrete, masonry, batch
<br />plant, fireproofing, shotcrete, soils, structural steel, non-destructive testing and welding to
<br />provide construction observation and testing services.
<br />GDC and its professionals have conducted numerous projects associated with rail
<br />facilities, airports, roads, bridges, commercial developments, academic institutions,
<br />industrial buildings, refineries, power plants, port and harbor facilities, marinas, levees,
<br />dikes, reservoir and dams, sewage collection and water distribution facilities, pipelines
<br />and trestles, hillside grading, major defense and telecommunications facilities. Our work
<br />has included major public agency projects in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San
<br />Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.
