35303 on the date of the adoption of this Resolution; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 23, Township $ South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, as shown on a map of Record of Survey Recorded in Book 3, Page 29, Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, said corner also being an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana; thence North 89° 29' East along the center line of Edinger Street, and along the existing city boundary of said City a distance of 660 feet to the inter- section of said center line of Edinger Street with the North prolongation of the East line of Lot 11, thence departing fr~ City boundary South 00© 11' West along said North prolongation of said Lot 11, and along said East line of Lot 11, a distance of 65S.86 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 11; thence South 89~ 35' West along the South lines of Lots 11, 12, 13, and along the West prolongation of the South line of Lot 13, a distance of 660 feet, more or less to a point on said city boundary, and to a point on the West line of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 23; thence North along said city boundary and ~long said West line a distance of 657 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That "Edinger and Raitt S.E. Annex" is hereby designated as an appropriate name by which said territory shall be known for the purpose of this annexation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That notice is hereby given that June 5, 1961, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Aha, California, is the time and place fixed at which said Council will hear protests against this annexation made by any person owning property within said territory. At any time before said hour any owner of property within said terri- tory may file writ~n protest against this proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the description and area of the property in general terms, all as provided for in Section 35312 of the Government Code of the State of California.
