BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That MacArth~r Boulevard is presently <br />proposed as the principal highway access to the University of California <br />property now being developed along the Easterly side of said Boulevard. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this City Council expresses its <br />appreciation to Senator Randolph Collier, Chairman of the Senate <br />Transportation Committee, for hisunderstanding of the concern of the <br />citizens of Orange County in this problem and his suggestion that a <br />public hearing be held on this matter before his Comunittee as a part <br />of the consideration of Senate Bill 765, and urges that this major <br />highway link between the beach areas and the heart of Orange County <br />along and through the area of the new University of California campus <br />be preserved in its present alignment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 61-118 is hereby <br />rescinded. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana: that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 15th day of May, 1961, and was at said meeting regularly passed <br /> <br />and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
