RESOLUTION NO. 61-153 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, GERTRUDE ROWLAND, as EXECUTRIX OF THE ESTATE OF JOHN FREDRICK AVAS, also known as Fred Avas, has presented to the City a deed dated June 2, 1961, conveying an easement for drainage purposes North of Smeltzer Avenue, West of Newhope Street, in con- sideration of the payment of $1,122.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 46174-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, BILL J. DEDMON and ANNIE L. DEDMON have presented to the City a deed dated June 13, 1961, granting a parcel of real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, East of Maple Street, in consideration of the payment of $13,700.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 46334-C with the Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, GEORGE ~..__BOXBER~R_~.and BEVERLY J. BO~Q~ have presented to the City a deed dated June 1, 1961, conveying a parcel of real property on proposed Fairview Street, West of Tenth Street, in consideration of the payment of $17,500.00 and a Quitclaim Deed from said City to said Grantors for an adjoining parcel of real property. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 46268-C with the Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE~: 'I91at the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ATTEST: CLERK OF THE COUNCIL -1- 19th day of June, 1961.
