Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) Board Members; Tammy Kim & Kathleen Treseder from the Irvine City Council, Fred Jung, Mayor of Fullerton, and Joe Mosca, OCPA CEO, have a very recent open California Public Utilities Commission investigation into their spending practices while sitting on the board of the OCPA. This is a short list of what the Orange County Power Authority has been spending its ratepayers funds on. The majority of these charges have not gone before the OCPA board for approval. Some of these charges are board members funding activities in their city, something their city should be funding and NOT OCPA ratepayers! Then we have a OCPA board member, Tammy Kim, who consistently uses the funds she is allotted in the City of Irvine, through the Community Grant Program, to fund specific organizations that either help to fund her election campaigns, or organizations that give her a platform in which to speak. Tammy Kim then uses ratepayer funds from the OCPA to fund these same organizations. In fact, members on the Irvine council refused her request for one organization because it was found to be going to overseas businesses in Korea. So Tammy Kim turned around and got what she could for that organization through the ratepayers of the OCPA. 1
