caused by the actions or failure to act of the City, its officers, <br />agents, or employees. <br />8. Alteration or Amendment. This Agreement constitutes <br />the entire agreement between the parties hereto and may be <br />modified, altered, or amended only by written agreement of the <br />parties. <br />9. Auditing and Financial Records. City shall have access <br />to the books, documents, and records of the County pertinent to the <br />Agreement for auditing purposes, and County shall have access to <br />the books, documents, and records of the City for purposes of audit <br />and evaluation. Each of the parties shall maintain and preserve <br />all books, financial statements, journals, ledgers, and other <br />pertinent documents for a period of seven years from the <br />termination of the Agreement or for any period required thereafter <br />by statute. <br />10. Term. This Agreement shall be effective for nine <br />months, commencing on April 1, 1992 and terminating on December 31, <br />1992 and will be subject to renewal for an additional nine months <br />beginning January 1, 1993 if grant funding permits. County shall <br />have sixty days following the end of the contract period for the <br />submission of claims for reimbursement. <br />11. Notices.
