NAYI <br />IyyypJ <br />Imp <br />REL� 1/70/93 <br />AMENDMENT TO <br />AGREEMENT <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO <br />AGREEMENT, <br />entered into this <br />day of <br />�WAII 1 1993, <br />by and between the CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, a <br />municipal corporation <br />of the State <br />of California ("City") <br />and the <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE, a <br />political <br />corporation of <br />the State of <br />California ("County") <br />WITNESSETH <br />Recitals: <br />A. The City and the County entered into that certain <br />Agreement dated August 17, 1992, by which the County undertook to <br />provide the services of a Deputy District Attorney and a Deputy <br />Probation Officer as part of the City's "Operation Weed and Seed" <br />(the "Agreement"). <br />B. The parties hereto do now desire to amend the Agreement <br />to extend its term and increase the maximum payable compensation. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and subject to <br />the terms and conditions of the Agreement as hereby amended, the <br />parties hereto do hereby agree that the Agreement is amended as <br />follows: <br />1. In Section 2, the figure 11$146,161" is replaced with the <br />figure 11$292,32211 and the date "December 31, 199211 is replaced with <br />the date "September 30, 1993.11 <br />2. The first sentence of Section 10 is amended to read as <br />follows: "This Agreement shall be effective for eighteen months <br />commencing on April 1, 1992, and terminating on September 31, 1993. 11 <br />1 <br />
