PROJECT: WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAM <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Santiago Park Automatic <br />Irrigation System <br />Third District <br />URBAN PARKS PROGRAM <br />FUNDING ASSISTANCE <br />AGREEMENT <br />This AGREEMENT is made and entered into this <br />1992, <br />BY AND BETWEEN <br />rfflul <br />Agreement No. D92. 1.19 �= <br />�J <br />0 3 <br />day of <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, municipal <br />corporation, hereinafter referred <br />to as "CITY", <br />THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, a subdivision <br />of the State of California, <br />hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY" <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, CITY has coordinated, designed, prepared plans and <br />specifications and will award a contract for construction of an automated <br />irrigation system at the Santiago Community Park Lawn Bowling Center, <br />hereinafter referred to as "PROJECT"'; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost for development and construction of said <br />PROJECT is estimated at $80,000; and <br />WHEREAS, CITY has requested funding assistance in an amount not <br />to exceed $40,000 to finance construction of said PROJECT; and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY finds that completion of PROJECT will enable CITY <br />to potentially reduce water consumption up to twenty five percent (25%) of <br />current usage; and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY has established a program, which has generally <br />become known as the "Urban Parks Program", to budget funds annually for use <br />_1_ <br />
