IV <br />For purposes of this agreement all funds under this agreement <br />shall be disbursed or encumbered on or before July 1, 1976, except <br />as provided under Section X of this agreement. <br />VI <br />CITY agrees that the overhead for the facility itself and the <br />parking site, planning not including design services and all other <br />development, shall not be included under this joint funding agreement. <br />The CITY acknowledges responsibility for the design of the facility, <br />and the parking area, and agrees that the plans and specifications <br />shall be approved by the COUNTY prior to advertising for bids. COUNTY <br />agrees that the design services shall be included under this joint <br />funding agreement. <br />IX <br />CITY agrees that the Senior Citizens Service Center to be provided <br />under this agreement ,_list be retained for use consistent with Senior. <br />Citizens Social -Park Service purposes as provided for under CITYS <br />concept proposal dated December 3, 1973, as submitted to COUNTY - <br />Revenue Sharing Office which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />by this reference as though fully set forth. These programs for Senior <br />Citizens shall include, but not be limited to assistance in the location <br />of housing, jobs, consumer protection, health, recreation, transportation <br />and counseling assistance in obtaining legal and medical aid. <br />CITY further agrees that level of operation and maintenance for <br />the Senior Citizens Service Center to be provided under this agreement <br />must be adequate to insure the maximum utilization of the facility by <br />the public for Senior Citizens Social Park Services purpose, and that <br />the use of the property shall be granted to all residents of the COUNTY <br />on the same conditions that the residents of the CITY use the property, <br />and if the Senior Citizens Service Center ceases to be used for said <br />Senior Citizen Social -Park purposes by CITY, and such cessation is not <br />approved by the Board of Supervisors, CITY shall repay to COUNTY the sum <br />contributed by the COUNTY under this agreement at the time of such cessation. <br />CITY also agrees to use the aforedescribed parking site for <br />Senior Citizens Service Center parking except a portion of said site <br />which at some future tire may possibly be used for street purposes by <br />the City of Santa Ana extending Fourth Street to interconnect with Third <br />Street. <br />-3- <br />
