AA <br />(PRol: -!: -r I <br />C <br />REVENUE SHARING AGREEMENT ' I <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this' -5-f 07 d, a y o K <br />1977-°l1 by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a chartered Municinal <br />7 <br />corporation, hereinafter referred to as "CITY" and the COUNTY OF <br />ORANGE, a division of the State of California, hereinafter refer- <br />red to as "COUNTY". <br />W I T N E S S E T-H <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY has agreed to share some of its general revenue <br />sharing funds with cities, service areas and Park and Recreation <br />Districts; and <br />WTIEREAS, the CITY has requested the one of these revenue sharing <br />and matching fund projects be the development of additional <br />recreation facilities for Spurgeon Intermediate School and that <br />the funds shall be used to purchase and install lighting for <br />three (3) ball fields, three (3) backstops with bleachers, play- <br />ground equipment, drinking fountain, benches, restroom fixtures, <br />par'kinq facilities and walkways; and <br />WHEREAS, Spurgeon Inter -mediate School is a recreational facility <br />serving a 2/3 mile radius in the west central area of Santa Ana, <br />with an approvimate population of 4,000 people, and <br />iffIEREAS, CITY has adopted the General Plan Program oF the City, <br />page 16, technical work-bood 4 Facilities Plans/Imple-mentation <br />1 <br />
