RESOLUTION NO. 61-169 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br /> INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ST. ANDREW PLACE <br /> BETWEEN STANDARD AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been filed requesting the vacation <br /> <br />of that portion of St. Andrew Place herein described, and after <br /> <br />study, the City Council has determined that said street is unneces- <br /> <br />sary for present or future street purposes. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br /> <br />adopts the map attached hereto, orders the same be filed with the <br /> <br />original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars and exact <br /> <br />location of the right of way proposed to be vacated. <br /> <br />The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this <br /> <br />street vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of <br /> <br />1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and High- <br /> <br />ways Code), to vacate that portion of St. Andrew Place in the City <br /> <br />of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: A strip of land 60 feet in width and being <br />30 feet on each side of the following described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot D of Tract <br />Number 696 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 20, <br />Pages 45 and 46, Miscellaneous Maps, Reoords of Orange <br />County, California and running thence from said point of <br />beginning South 89° 22' East along the North line of <br />said Lot D 570.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said <br />Lot D. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded <br />Southerly by the North line of Parcel 1; bounded Westerly <br />by the East line of Standard Avenue as shown on said map <br />of Tract Number 696 and bounded Northeasterly by the arc <br />of a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 20 <br />feet and tangent to said Southerly and Westerly boundaries. <br /> <br />PARCEL 3: A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded <br />Northerly by the South line of Parcel 1; bounded Westerly <br />by the East line of Standard Avenue as shown on said map <br />of Tract Number 696 and bounded Southeasterly by the arc <br />of a curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 20 <br />feet and tangent to said Northerly and Westerly boundaries. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That August 7, 1961, at the hour of <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
