!'1RELATED
Bristol
To Whom It May Concern:
I am in support of the proposed Related Bristol mixed -use project because of the significant
economic be,refits, community benefits and addit anal housing it will provide for the City of
Santa Asia for decades to come,
Redeveloping the aging, auto -centric suburban shopping center on South Bristol Street into a
walkab!e, people -first community of residences, shops, restaurants and programmed open
green space will be a major economic boost to tale City.
Approximateiy 1,500 jabs will be created, along with an estIrnated $10-7 million in annual tax
revenue to help fund the expansion of services and programs throughout Santa Aria.
[once built, nearly one --third of the development will be dedicated to open space with an active
mix of programmed parks, open-air plazas and pedestrian-onty paseos—a shard contrast to the
asphalt -heavy shopping center that exists there today. Open space on this scale in the heart of
®ras e County is in high demand, but short supply; which is why Belated Bristol is such a
vitas --and refreshing --alternative to othe• urban developments.
Moreover, Santa Ana is central to many major ernrpioyars and the City reeds mere housing to
retain and attract skille$ wvrRors. Related Bristol will offer a diverse rnix of housing and lifestyle
options that will meet this critical regional need.
l believe Related Bristol is the type of mixed -rase development that City off-cials envisioned and
advocated in the General plan for ffye South Bristol Street Corridor. Approval of this innovative
and dynamic project is essential to sustain- Santa Ana's grov.,tn and prosperity for years to come
and contribute to the economic, social and cultural expansion of one of the largest, most
important cities in grange County.
I support Relate~~ Bristci and urge you to approve this visionary development,
Thank you,
6rtArE:a r S t=rL:
ADDRESS;
Yes, I am willing to speak publiciy as a supporter of Related Bristol.
