No. 53-39 <br />Accept Easement Deed <br />Modesto Montanez etux <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the follow- <br />ing Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Accepting Easement Deed" <br /> <br />from Modesto and Guadalupe Montanez, conveying an easement for street <br /> <br />purposes on Halladay Street south of the Pacific Electric Railway <br /> <br />Company, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 53-39 and <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />In Re <br />Resol. Stroud, Wallace Reese Wells and William <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />Mary Lieberknecht <br /> (sewer stoppage) <br /> <br />Layer, Jr., to drive taxicabs, were received and permits granted. <br /># <br /> <br />Communication was read from Mary Lieberkneoht, IAO East Delhi Road, <br />submitting a claim for payment in the sum of $58.52 for services <br />rendered by James H. Russell and Son, when the City sewer line stopped <br /> <br />up for a period of over a month. On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded <br /> <br />by Hunter and carried, the matter was referred to the City Attorney <br /> <br />In Re <br />Request <br />Crippled Children's <br />Fund and Easter <br />Seals <br /> <br />and.Engineer.for report and recommendation at the next meeting. <br />Communication was read from Ada G. Thompson, Executive Director, on <br />behalf of the 0rippled Children's Fund.and Easter Seals, requesting <br />the use of Santiago Park for a charity event on the afternoon of <br /> <br />April 7, 1953 and permission to accept donations for the entire <br /> <br />program.
