RESOLUTION NO. 61-204 COMMENDING THE SANTA ANA <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT, THE FIRE FIGHTERS FROM GARDEN <br />GROVE AND THE SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR <br />THEIR COOPERATION AND EFFECTIVENESS DURING THE <br />RECENT FIRE AT TIERNAN'S <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the evening of August 5, 1961, a major fire <br />occurred at Tiernan's, 902 North Main Street, Santa Aha, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the degree of cooperation and effectiveness of the <br />Santa Ana Fire Department and the Santa Aha Police Department in <br />handling the situation was outstanding and of the highest quality; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, valuable volunteered assistance was received from <br />firemen from the City of Garden Grove. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Santa Aha Fire <br />Department, the firemen of Garden Grove and the Santa Ana Police <br />Department are hereby commended for their cooperation, effectiveness <br />and conduct during said recent fire at Tiernan's. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of August, 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was <br />regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting h~ld on the <br />7th day of August, 1961, and was at said meeting regularly passed and <br />adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
