The enforcement activities will follow proven “best practice” strategies and <br />will be conducted on an overtime basis. <br />The educational portion of the grant will include funding for Police Department staff to <br />facilitate multi-media presentations at local schools in partnership with the Santa Ana <br />Unified School District. Promotional and educational materials will be made available to <br />support ongoing outreach programs already in place. This grant also includes funding to <br />purchase bicycle helmets for distribution to community members during outreach and <br />education events.
