RESOLUTION NO. 61-220 FIXING THE SALARY OF THE <br />CITY MANAGER OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, salaries in the city management field have continued <br />to increase throughout the entire California area so that now Santa <br />Ana is paying its present City Manager at a scale materially below <br />that of other cities having a population of one hundred thousand. <br />The City Council has determined that the Santa Ana City Manager's <br />salary should be brought more nearly into line with the norm for <br />cities the same size. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the posi- <br />tion of City Manager of Santa Ana, California is hereby fixed and <br />established at the rate of $1,850.00 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in the <br />same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries of the City <br />are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect and be paid <br />from the 1st day of September, 1961. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of~.8~ tember, 1~61. / ! <br /> / ,/' ! -..-r"' ', /f <br /> <br />dL~R~ OF ~E COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was <br />regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held on <br />the 5th day of September, 1961, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Henry H.
