Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California as established by Ordinance NS-450, adopted by the City Council of said City of Santa Ana on the 16th day of May, 1960, said point being 373.50 feet West and 25 feet South of the Southeast corner of Lot 4 of the Williams Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page 14, Deeds, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; and running thence South along the West line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to William T. Sturgis et ux. by deed recorded August 7, 1959, in Book 483, Page 38, Official Records of Orange County and along said City boundary 639.07 feet to the Southwest corner of said land conveyed to William T. Sturgis and to an angle point in said City boundary of Santa Ana as established by said Ordinance NS-450; thence East along the South line of said land conveyed to William T. Sturgis and along said City boundary 343.50 feet to a line parallel with and 30 feet West, measured at right angles, from the center line of Greenville Street and to an angle point in said City boundary as established by said Ordinance NS-450; thence South along said parallel line and along said City boundary 624.13 feet; thence East departing from said City boundary 338 feet; thence North 1258.20 feet to a line parallel with and 30 feet South, measured at right angles, from the center line of Talbert Avenue; thence West along said parallel line 308 feet to the center line of said Greenville Street; thence North along said center line of Greenville Street 5 feet; thence West along a line which is parallel with and 25 feet South, measured at right angles, from the South line of said Lot 4 of the Williams Tract 373.50 feet to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That "TALBERT AND GREENVILLE - SOUTH ANNEX" is hereby designated as an appropriate name by which said territory shall be known for the purpose of this annexation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That notice is hereby given that November 6, 1961, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Aha, California, is the time and place fixed at which said Council will hear protests against this annexation made by any person owning property within said territory. At any time before said hearing, any owner of real property within said territory may file written protest against this proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the description and area of the property in general terms, all as provided for in the California Government Code, Section 35312. -2-
