CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> 4.5 Material Specifications <br /> All materials and supplies shall be new, high quality, free of defects, and designed for <br /> the intended use and shall be subject to the Inspector's approval. Specifications for <br /> materials may change upon request of the City. Specifications include: <br /> 4.5.1 Marcal Pro white single fold towel <br /> 4.5.2 SoftPetals Toilet Seat Covers <br /> 4.5.3 SoftPetals Ultra Multifold 1-Ply Virgin Hand Towels <br /> 4.5.4 White almond Amersan Hand Soap <br /> 4.5.5 TrulyGreen 2-ply bathroom tissue <br /> V. SERVICE PROCEDURE (GENERAL INFORMATION) <br /> Supervisor or lead on duty at City sites shall work with City personnel in planning and <br /> scheduling tasks. Contractor shall advise Contract Manager if any additional work is required <br /> and when the Contractor will return to perform that work. Contractor shall report accidents <br /> and injuries to their immediate supervisor and City representative immediately. <br /> Use of City telephones and radios is prohibited, except under emergency circumstances for <br /> medical aid, fire or safety, etc. Unauthorized use of City office equipment such as copy <br /> machines, computers, fax machines, calculators, appliances, water cooler dispensers, etc. <br /> is prohibited. <br /> Contractor personnel shall not open drawers, cabinets, or locked doors, except to access <br /> approved supplies with express permission of the City. Items left on desks or other surfaces <br /> shall not be disturbed. <br /> Contractor shall report conditions such as leaky faucets, plugged drains, or broken fixtures, <br /> water on the floor, broken janitor closets, replacement of janitor closet lamps, etc. to City. <br /> Contractor shall respond to all service complaints no later than the next business day. <br /> Contractor must not recycle trash or store trash on the premises for personal gain. Contractor <br /> shall keep all doors locked while working at each site. Keys shall not be left in the doors. <br /> Contractor shall not admit any person into a building who is not a direct employee of the <br /> contractor actively engaged in providing the specified services. Contractor personnel shall <br /> not enter areas of the facilities not specifically included in the scope of services. Contractor <br /> shall check all windows and doors for proper closure and locking, and extinguish all lights <br /> upon exiting buildings. <br /> For removal of blood, fecal matter, urine, and other potentially infectious materials as outlined <br /> in OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.1030, Contractor shall use the Hillyard Bodily Fluid <br /> Disposal Kit (Item No. HIL0018204). <br /> VI. QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM <br /> Proposer shall submit a Quality Control Program as part of their proposal and shall include <br /> at a minimum, the following: <br /> 6.1 Monthly inspection system covering all the services listed in the Scope of Work. It shall <br /> specify each site listed in the RFP and its observed state of cleanliness. <br /> 6.2 Methods for identifying and connecting deficiencies in quality of service. <br /> City of Santa Ana RFP 24-076 Page 24 of 73 <br />
