Design & Implementation <br />Our most essential self-imposed requirement is to <br />provide a creative, out-of-the box client experience as <br />we find, profile, and select the hundreds of different <br />products that will constitute the Furniture Package. <br />By nature, we are not prescriptive in our approach <br />to envisioning our clients’ environments, or the <br />products that follow. Our ideal scenario is to work <br />shoulder-to-shoulder in formulating the solution set <br />with the integrated team, utilizing our human and <br />digital resources to their highest potentials. Due to <br />our wide range of experience and knowledge as <br />it relates to vendor and material providers, we can <br />iterate quickly and tailor solutions to a client’s budget, <br />functionality demands, and aesthetic aspirations. <br />Our experience tells us that clients quickly recognize <br />the difference between cost and value. Therefore, <br />instead of chasing a low cost, we leverage our creative <br />team to create and propose several options for <br />consideration, spanning the range of cost, function, <br />and aesthetic. Once you’ve focused on a narrower <br />group of selections for each item, we then create a <br />competitive environment between manufacturers, <br />leveraging for their best discounted cost. <br />Our team operates best when we are involved upstream <br />in the Design Development process. A furniture <br />design package has four defining values: functionality, <br />aesthetic, cost and desired user experience. Because <br />we are the experts as it relates to our products, their <br />purpose, and the wide range of solutions in the <br />marketplace, our expertise is best leveraged early in <br />the process, when real progress in all four defining <br />values can be made through a communicative process. <br />We seamlessly integrate our internal team into the <br />larger project team in order to foresee changes <br />to the schedule and plan accordingly. Should the <br />schedule become compressed (which happens quite <br />often) we increase manpower to accommodate the <br />requirements of the schedule. In the event that we <br />are being asked to work multiple shifts and incur <br />overtime, we create the applicable cost-scenarios <br />within 48 hours of receiving schedule notification. <br />Cost and schedule are further managed by our <br />infrastructure, as well as that of our partners. <br />Steelcase’s SAP-driven back-end system allows us <br />a great deal of flexibility with regards to scheduling <br />our direct shipments of furniture for installation. By <br />using direct shipments, we avoid costly and time- <br />consuming warehousing and double-handling. <br />As one of the largest provider of contract furniture <br />dealers in Southern California, we receive the best <br />pricing from our installation subcontractors, which <br />is passed onto you in the form of lower install <br />costs and/or higher degrees of service, as well <br />as follow-up during installation.
