RESOLUTION NO. 61-254 GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1545 <br />ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 42 FILED BY H. A. AND <br />ROSE E. PASKETT WHERE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR DENIED <br />VARIANCE AS APPLIED FOR BUT GRANTED VARIANCE WITH <br />MODIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, AFTER HEARING, the Zoning Administrator granted <br />Variance Application No. 1545, filed by H. A. and ROSE E. PASKETT <br />to permit the construction of 4 dwelling units on a parcel of real <br />property at 1931 West Washington Avenue, Santa Ana, California, in <br />an R-2 District, subject to one condition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Variance Application No. 1545, filed by H. A. and <br />ROSE PASKETT, sought a variance to allow the construction of a <br />5-unit apartment building on the aforesaid property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Variance as granted by the Zoning Administrator <br />was approved by the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 42 was duly filed with the <br />City Council appealing the modificationSof the Variance by the <br />Zoning Administrator and the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />O <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council; after careful <br />consideration of the statements contained in and the material <br />accompanying the application; the testimony offered at the hearing; <br />examination of all the facts established; and the finding that the <br />requirements as set forth in Section 9250.8 of the Santa Aha Munici- <br />pal Code have been met, it has been determined that said Variance <br />should be granted as originally applied for, but subject to one <br />condition, and that the Zoning Administrator's determination should <br />be overruled. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby grants Appeal Application No. 42 and grants <br />a Variance on Variance Application No. 1545 to permit the construc- <br />tion of a 5-unit apartment building on the property situated at <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
