R~SOLUTION NO. 61-267 GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1536 <br />ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 38 FILED BY MANUEL G. <br />SAUCEDO AFTER THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HAD DENIED <br />A VARIANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />denied Variance Application No. 1536, filed by MANUEL G. SAUCEDO, <br />which said Variance was requested to convert a recreation building <br />into a bachelor apartment in the C-1 District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 38 was duly filed with the <br /> <br />City Council appealing the denial of the Variance by the Zoning <br />Administrator; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council it was deter- <br /> <br />mined that said Appeal Application should be denied; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Council meeting held on October 16, 1961, a <br />communication was presented from the applicant requesting reconsider- <br />ation of the denial of the Appeal Application No. 38, and it was <br />determined that the matter should be set for reconsideration of the <br />City Council at the November 20, 1961, meeting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council; after careful <br />consideration of the statements contained in and the materials <br />accompanying the application; the testimony offered at the hearing; <br />examination of all the facts established; and after determining that <br />said use requested by Variance Application No. 1536 meets the <br />requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, it <br />has been determined that said Variance should be granted, subject to <br />conditions, and that the Zoning Administrator should be overruled. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby grants Appeal Application No. 38 and grants <br />a variance on Variance Application No. 1536, subject to the condition <br />that the development be in accordance with the submitted plot plan. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
