Book i7, Page 209 <br />Co~pared & Indexed <br /> <br />c: Applicant, Planning, Bldg, <br /> P~blic Works <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO.60~h GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION <br /> NO. 1289 FILED BY SOPHIA WALDMANWHERE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after public hearing, on <br />notice, has recommended denial of Variance Application No. 1289, <br />and the City Council after consideration has decided that said <br />Variance should be granted upon certain conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br /> <br />hereby grants a Variance on Application No. 1289 to permit the use <br /> <br />of property known and numbered as 1010 North Parton Street, Santa <br /> <br />Ana, California, lying in the County of Orange, State of California <br /> <br />described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the land allotted to Jacob Ross in <br />decree of partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, <br />recorded in Book B of Judgments of the 17th Judicial <br />District Court of California, located in the City of <br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point 107.28 feet North of the inter- <br />section of the North line of Orchard Street, now Tenth <br />Street, if extended, and the West line of Patton Street, <br />and running thence North along the West line of Patton <br />Street, 55~ feet; thence West 249.89 feet; thence South <br />55% feet; thence East 249.89 feet to the place of beginning, <br /> <br />in an R-2 District to be used for the construction of a two story <br /> <br />apartment building. Said Variance is granted upon the conditions <br /> <br />.that: <br /> <br />(1) There shall be no more than thirteen dwelling units <br />with seventeen parking stalls, constructed in accordance <br />with the revised plot plan. <br /> <br />(2) The existing drive approach shall be replaced with a <br />standard approach. <br /> <br />(3) A six feet high block wall shall be constructed along <br />all rear and side property lines excepting said wall shall <br />not exceed four feet in height along the side lot lines in <br />the required front yard area. <br /> <br />(4) All conditions shall be c~nplied with prior to the <br />issuance of a utilities release by the Building Department. <br /> <br /> <br />
