Publish May 21, 1960 <br /> <br /> ~ vacation reco~nended by <br /> C ~ i P~b Wks - No fee per Attorney <br /> <br /> c: Pub Wks, Planning <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 60-99 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE SULLIVAN STREET NORTH OF <br />FIFTH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has recommended the <br />vacation of Sullivan Street as it exists North of Fifth Street; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto <br />marked "Exhibit A" is hereby approved and ordered filed with and as <br />a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, <br />and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as to the <br />street vacation proposed herein, and the City Council hereby der <br />clares its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of Sullivan <br />Street in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of Cali- <br />fornia, described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of Sullivan Street as shown on a map of Tract <br /> No. 633 in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State <br /> of California as per map recorded in Book 19, Page 4 of <br /> Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder <br /> of said County, lying Northerly of the Westerly prolonga- <br /> tion of the North line of the South 12.00 feet of Lot 13 <br /> in Block "C" of said Tract No. 633 and bounded on the <br /> Northwest by the Southwesterly prolongation of the South- <br /> easterly line Of Lot 16 in Block "C" of said Tract No. 633. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the <br /> <br />6th day of June, 1960 in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3rd and <br />Main streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed <br />for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed <br />vacation of said street. The City Council declares its intention <br />to proceed with this street vacation under the provisions of the <br />Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the <br />California Streets and Highways Code). <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the Council is ordered to publish this Resolution <br />in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of Ordinances of <br />the City, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to post notices <br />of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said street, stat- <br />ing the passage of this Resolution of intention and the time and place <br />of hearing thereon. Said notices shall be posted not more than 300 <br />feet apart and at least three shall be so posted. Both publication <br />and posting shall be completed at least ten days before the date of <br />said hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
