WEITZMAN WHERE CITY COUNCIL <br />MODIFIED RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WIqEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on <br />notice, has recommended that Variance Application No. 1327 should <br />be granted, and the City Council concurs, but has determined to <br />modify the conditions imposed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Variance as rec- <br /> <br />commended in Santa Ana Planning Commission Resolution No. 5249 is <br />hereby granted to permit the construction of a two-story, 20-unit <br /> <br />apartment house, with 16 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom units on <br /> <br />property located at 1311 North Ross Street, Santa Ana, lying in <br /> <br />the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />The South 5 feet of Lot 22 and all of that portion of <br />Lot 23 lying West of Southerly extension of the East <br />line of said Lot 22 of W. W. Halesworth's second addi- <br />tion to town of Santa Ana~ <br /> <br />AS per map recorded in Book 25, Page 91 of Miscellaneous <br />Records of Los Angeles County~ <br /> <br />subject to conditions as follows: <br /> <br />That a solid 5-foot high block wall be erected <br />on the North to the front yard setback line and <br />2½-foot high from the front yard setback line to <br />the sidewalk. <br /> <br />That off-street parking be provided at the ratio <br />of one and one-half stalls per two-bedroom unit, and <br />one and one-quarter stalls per one-bedroom unit, and <br />that not less than twenty-five off-street parking <br />stalls be provided. <br /> <br />3. That the existing drive approach be replaced with a <br /> standard approach. <br /> <br />That the development be in conformance to the plot <br />plan submitted, and that all carports be covered, all <br />driveways and access areas be blacktopped and that <br />any front parking areas be subterranean (insofar as <br />the building is concerned--underneath the building-- <br />rather than in the front yard). <br /> <br />That all of the above conditions be complied with <br />prior to issuance of a utilities release by the <br />Building Department. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
