452 <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br />September 8, 1953. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmen <br />Councilmen <br /> <br />William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F. Larsen, <br />Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of August l?, 1953, reading of the Minutes was dispensed ~Tith and <br />approved on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride and carried. <br /> <br />In Re This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the City <br /> <br />Hearing Date <br /> (Baptist Church <br />Annexation). <br />Ordinance Approving <br />Annexation <br /> <br />of certain uninhabited territory designated as "Baptist Church Annexation", <br />no protests were received. On motion of CoUncilman Dahl, seconded by <br />Jerome and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance approving the annexation of that <br />certain territory designated "Baptist Church <br />Annexation" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing <br />Amend. Application <br />Allison Honer to <br />Reclassify S.W. Corner <br />15th & College Ave. <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the Amendment Application of <br />Allison Honer for the reclassification of the southwest corner of 15th <br />and College Avenue from R-1 to ~-3 Zone, seven persons stood in protest. <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride and carried, the <br /> <br />City Attorney was instructed to prepa?e an amendment to the Municipal <br /> <br />Code to reclassify the property. <br /> <br /> <br />
