RESOLUTION NO. 6,0rll~ <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN REAL <br />PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF WIDENING THE <br />BRIDGE ACROSS SANTIAGO CREEK ON NORTH MAIN <br />STREET AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, bridge across Santiago Creek at North Main Street as <br />it now exists, is inadequate in width to accommodate the flow of <br />traffic presently using said street: <br /> <br /> NOW THERE?ORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that public interest <br />and necessity require that said bridge be widened and improved, and <br />further require that said City do have, take and acquire easements <br />for street purposes over, through and across certain lands in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, des- <br />cribed as: <br /> <br />An easement for street purposes over the Westerly 12.00 feet <br />of Lot 11 in Block B of Tract No. 315, Owens Subdivision, <br />in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded <br />in Book 14, page 49, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange <br />County, California. <br />Excepting the Northerly 33.60 feet. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest, necessity <br />and convenience require and it is hereby ordered that the City of <br />Santa Ana, a Municipal Corporation, Plaintiff in the condemnation <br />action ordered herein, take immediate possession and use of the <br />property herein ordered to be acquired upon complying with the <br />requirements of the law applicable thereto, that the City Attorney <br />report to the Director of Finance the amount of money required <br />thereof, and that the Director of Finance shall deposit said amount <br />with the Clerk of the Court. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHUER RESOLVED, That the said action for condemnation <br />of said property so to be acquired shall be taken in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and Constitution of <br />the State of California relating to eminent domain. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of June . 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to the said Council at its regular meeting <br />held on the 6th day of Jmae 1960, and was at said meeting <br />regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
