RESOLUTION NO. ~ GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON QUESTION OF DOG LEASH ORDINANCE FOR <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a petition and oral arguments have been presented <br />to the City Council of Santa Ana, California urging the adoption <br />of an Ordinance prohibiting dogs from running at large in the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana will hold a public hearing on July 5, 1960, <br />at 7:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, <br />Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, where all persons <br />regularly residing within the City of Santa Ana may appear and be <br />heard, either for or against the adoption of an Ordinance to re- <br />quire all dogs to be kept within enclosures, securely tied on owners <br />property or controlled upon a leash held by the person in charge of <br />such dog, and providing penalties for violation and for pick-up and <br />destruction of dogs running at large. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CL~RK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, MARION SUTTNER, <br /> <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I am the Clerk of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting <br />held on the 6th day of June, 1960, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, COUNCILMEN: <br />NOES, COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Royal E.
