WESLEY SMITH WHERE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL WHEREAS, the. Planning Cormnission, after public hearing on notice, has recommended denial of Variance Application No. 1321, and the City Council,lafter consideration, has decided that said Variance should be granted upon certain conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby grants a Variance on Application No. 1321 to permit the use of the property known and numbered as 112-114 East Berkeley Street in the City of Santa Ana, lying in the County of Orange, described as: Lot 3, Block "J", Tract 252 in an R-2 District, to be used for the expansion of an existing pro- fessional office in accordance with regulations. Said Variance is granted subject to conditions: 1. That approximately 15 lineal feet of broken sidewalk on Berkeley Street be replaced. 2. That the existing lean-to and/or garage be removed, and that the area be blacktopped to provide five parking spaces, meeting the standard requirement of the Planning Department. 3. That a report of approval of the parking area in the rear yard issued by the Planning Department be presented to the Building Department prior to the issuance of a building permit for alteration of the building. 4. That no parking be permitted on the front 25 feet of said property and~n~paving be allowed thereon. 5. That no additional curb ~uts be allowed. 6. That all conditions be complied with prior to the issuance of a utilities release by the Building Department.
