WESLEY SMITH <br />WHERE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the. Planning Cormnission, after public hearing on <br />notice, has recommended denial of Variance Application No. 1321, <br />and the City Council,lafter consideration, has decided that said <br />Variance should be granted upon certain conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />grants a Variance on Application No. 1321 to permit the use of the <br />property known and numbered as 112-114 East Berkeley Street in the <br />City of Santa Ana, lying in the County of Orange, <br />described as: <br /> <br /> Lot 3, Block "J", Tract 252 <br /> <br />in an R-2 District, to be used for the expansion of an existing pro- <br />fessional office in accordance with regulations. Said Variance is <br />granted subject to conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That approximately 15 lineal feet of broken sidewalk <br /> on Berkeley Street be replaced. <br /> <br /> 2. That the existing lean-to and/or garage be removed, and <br /> that the area be blacktopped to provide five parking <br /> spaces, meeting the standard requirement of the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> 3. That a report of approval of the parking area in the <br /> rear yard issued by the Planning Department be presented <br /> to the Building Department prior to the issuance of a <br /> building permit for alteration of the building. <br /> <br /> 4. That no parking be permitted on the front 25 feet of <br /> said property and~n~paving be allowed thereon. <br /> <br /> 5. That no additional curb ~uts be allowed. <br /> <br /> 6. That all conditions be complied with prior to the issuance <br /> of a utilities release by the Building Department. <br /> <br />State of California, <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />at its <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C~.ERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />regular meeting held on the 20th day of June, 1960. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
