RESOLUTION NO. 60-1~-IAUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />QUITCLAIM DEED TO KENNETH AND MARCIA PRICE AND <br />GRANT DEED TO FRANCISCO AND MARIA RODRIGUEZ <br />AND FRANK RODRIGUEZ, JR. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City authorized a Quitclaim to Kenneth <br />and Marcia Price covering unused sewer easement, and it appears that <br />some portion of said easement was not covered by said Quitclaim and <br />that the City obtained additional sewer easement by deeds recorded <br />in 1906; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City owns a certain strip of land without street <br />frontage lying Southeast of the intersection of Main Street and Delhi <br />Road which is too small to constitute a building site and could have <br />value only for nuisance purposes except in the hands of adjoining <br />property owner, which small parcel the City has no present or prospec- <br />tive use for and an offer has been received from the Rodriguez family <br />as owners of adjoining land, and upon recommendation by the City <br />Manager it has been determined that said property should be sold to <br />said adjoining owner for the sum of $255.75, with~out submitting the <br />same to public auction. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br /> instructs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute a Quit- <br /> claim deed to Kenneth C. Price and Marcia Huber Price, quitclaiming <br /> sewer rights of way resulting from deeds recorded in Book 96, Page 349, <br /> and Book 139, Page 215. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby instructed to execute that said Grant deed conveying <br /> <br /> a small parcel of land to Francisco ~. Rodriguez and Maria L..~_~ <br /> Rodriguez, and Frank Rodriguez, Jr., which is a portion of Block "A" <br /> of South Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 5, <br /> <br /> Page 43, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, and <br /> to deliver the same through Escrow ~44515-C with Security Title Insurance <br /> Company,'in consideration of payment to the City of $255.75. <br /> <br /> <br />
