RESOLUTION NO. 60-133 ~XPRESSING APPRECIATION TO <br />ALLISON HONER FOR HIS GIFT TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />OF A NEW FIFTY STAR UNITED STATES FLAG TO BE FLOWN <br />AT THE CI~l~ HALL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1935 ~4r. Allison Honer presented to the City of <br />Santa Aha the first flag to be flown from the flag staff on the front <br />or Westerly face of the then new City Hall; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Allison Honer has now taken this occasion, the <br />year of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the flying of the first flag <br />from the City Hall, to make a gift to the City of Santa Ana of the <br />new fifty-star United States flag, in commemoration of the dedication <br />of the City Hall and the flying of the first flag from its flag staff. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana, for and on behalf of the official City Family and <br />all of the citizens of Santa Ana, California, expresses thanks and <br />appreciation to Mr. Allison Honer for the gift of the new flag Which <br />will be flown in commemoration of the dedication of the Santa Ana <br />City Hall twenty-five years ago. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of July, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />d~RRK OF-THE -COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, MARION SUTTNER, <br /> <br />do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 5th day of July, 1960, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> COUNCIlmEN: RoyalE.
