Mayor Pro Tem Phan proposed canceling the July 1, 2025 and August 26, 2025 <br />meetings and keeping the August 5, 2025 meeting. <br />Councilmember Hernandez spoke in support of canceling the September 2, 2025 <br />and November 18, 2025 meetings. <br />Councilmember Penaloza spoke in support of canceling the September 2, 2025 <br />and November 18, 2025 meetings, proposed cancelling December 16, 2025, and <br />keeping the August 5, 2025 meeting. <br />Brief discussion ensued regarding meeting conflicts with conferences. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Lopez moved to approve the 2025 City Council <br />meeting schedule, as amended to cancel the January 7, September 2, <br />November 18, and December 16, 2025 meeting and to keep the August 5, 2025 <br />meeting, seconded by Mayor Amezcua. <br />The motion carried, 7-0, by the following roll call vote: <br />AYES: <br />COUNCILMEMBER BACERRA, COUNCILMEMBER <br />HERNANDEZ, COUNCILMEMBER LOPEZ, <br />COUNCILMEMBER PENALOZA, COUNCILMEMBER <br />VAZQUEZ, MAYOR PRO TEM PHAN, MAYOR AMEZCUA <br />NOES: <br />NONE <br />ABSTAIN: <br />NONE <br />ABSENT: <br />NONE <br />Status: 7 — 0 <br />— Pass <br />8.
