Beginning at the Northwest corner of '~ract No. 1716 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 52, page 12, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, said corner being an angle point on the city boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, said angle point also being a point on the center line of Santiago Street, 825.4S feet more or less Southerly from the intersection of said center line with the North line of Township 5 South, in Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian; thence Northerly along said center line of Santiago Street and along said city boundary 330.00 feet; thence departing from said city boundary and running in a straight line 866.34 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of Tract No. 3489 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 126, page 42, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence Easterly along the North line of said Tract No. 3489 and its Easterly extension 478.46 feet to a line that is parallel with and 25 feet Easterly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence Southerly along said parallel line 330 feet more or less to its intersection with the Easterly extension of the North line of Tract No. 1964, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 55, pages 26 and 27, of said Miscellaneous Maps; thence Westerly along said Easterly extension of the North line of Tract No. 1964 25.00 feet to an angle point in said city boundary; thence Westerly along said city boundary and along the North line of said Tracts Mo. 1964, and 1716, 1,320.03 feet to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: ~i~at "Lincoln and Virginia W. Annex" is hereby designated as an appropriate name by which said territory shall be known for the purpose of this annexation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: %~at notice is hereby given that September 19 , 1960, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3rd and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed at which said Council will hear protests against this Annexation made by any person owning property within said territory. At any time before said hour any owner of property within said territory may file written protest against this proposed Annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the description and area of the property in general terms, all as provided for in Section 35312 of the Govern- ment Code of the State of California.
