Brown <br /> <br />SANTA ANA RESOLUTION NO. 6.~-160 URGING THAT THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA SUBMIT WITHOUT DELAY A CONTRACT <br />FO~vI FOR DELIVERY OF NORTHERN WATER TO THE METRO- <br />POLITAN WATER DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is a member of and a user of <br />water from The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, <br />which said District is reported to be in negotiation with the <br />California State Water Resources Department for a contract providing <br />for the delivery of water fro~ Northern California by means of the <br />facilities to be constructed and financed under the program known <br />as the Feather River Project, which Project has as one of its major <br />purposes the delivery of domestic and irrigation water to Southern <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the desirability of early agreement on the form of <br />such contract would seem apparent. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana that Governor Edmund G.
