RESOLUTION NO. 60-166 INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR <br />ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />DESIGNATING AN APPROPRIATE NAME OF "BRISTOL AND <br />MEMORY LANE N. ANNEX" FOR SAID TERRITORY AND GIVING <br />NOTICE OF PROTEST HEARING THEREON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a description and map of territory herein described <br />were presented to the Santa Aha Planning Conumission, and said <br />Commission recommended the annexation of said territory, and said <br />description and map were presented to the Boundary Commission of <br />Orange County, California, and said Boundary Commission caused to <br />be prepared a report finding the p~oposed boundaries to be reason- <br />ably definite and certain. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That, at the request of <br />property owners in the territory herein described, the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana hereby initiates proceedings for the <br />annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Aha for the fol- <br />lowing reasons: <br /> <br /> 1.) That said territory will need municipal services to <br /> support and justify any development of a more intensive <br /> use and to increase the property values and potential <br /> incomes from said territory. <br /> <br /> 2.) That the area can best be served by the City of Santa <br /> <br /> Ana with municipal services of the highest quality anywhere <br /> obtainable. <br /> <br /> 3.) That it is to the mutual advantag~ of the land owners <br /> and the City of Santa Ana that said territory become a <br /> part of said City. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby declares <br />its intention to annex all of the territory hereinbelow described under <br />the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, <br />and hereby finds and declares that said territory is uninhabited within <br />the meaning of California Government Code Section 35303 on the date of <br />the adoption of this Resolution; that said territory is contiguous to <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
