RESOLUTION NO. 60-196 DECLARING THE WEEK OF <br />OCTOBER 8TH THROUGH THE 15TH AS "CHILDREN'S <br />HOSPITAL OF ORANGE COUNTY WEEK" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through the years the need for a Children's Hospital, <br />as a special unit, has become increasingly apparent; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain citizens of Orange County have joined together <br />in an attempt to raise money to establish a Children's Hospital <br />immediately adjacent to St. Josephs Hospital on the Easterly side of <br />North Main Street and have raised a considerable portion of the money <br />necessary to build said Hospital, which effort will be in vain if <br />further funds cannot be raised for said purpose. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha, by official action, does hereby declare and proclaim <br />the week of October 8th through October 15th, both inclusive, as <br />CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF ORANGE COUNTY WEEK in the City of Santa Aha, <br />and does call upon the citizens of this City to join with the rest of <br />the Orange County communities in the giving of their time, skills and <br />money to make this much needed Hospital unit a reality. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: . ~ <br />CLERK oF THE-COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 3rd day of October, 1960, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
